E-Mail List In The Fastest Time Possible!
Now, I’m going to show you the secret to
building a profitable opt-in e-mail list in the fastest time
possible. This is a unique trick you can use to quickly launch your
e-mail marketing program by building your own opt-in e-mail list
super fast.
Of course, to have an e-mail marketing program,
you need an e-mail list to e-mail to. So get out there and start
building your list!
One of the things I want to cover a
little bit I go into the main topic is the fact that when I use the
word “opt-in,” we are talking about building a list of people who
actually want to receive information from you or from anybody else
whose list they happen to be on. Opt-in simply means that they are
opting to be a part of that list. They are saying they want to
receive information and special offers from you.
The opposite
of opt-in is, of course, bulk e-mail or spam, which is highly used
on the Internet. You want to avoid spam. Spam isn’t looked upon
well. You should always use opt-in lists, because you want your
offers to be targeted to the right people - the people who are the
most likely to visit your web site and purchase your products.

I am going to tell you how to build your
own opt-in list effectively and in the fastest time, but before I
tell you how to do it, I am going to tell you what to avoid and how
to not build your e-mail list in the right way.
The wrong
way to build an e-mail list is to simply ask people to sign up to be
on your e-mail list. You might see a lot of web sites out there that
say, “Join our list to receive future updates,” or something along
those lines. They don’t give you any real reason to join their list,
to receive e-mail information, and offers from them. If you have
this kind of list, you might find that you get a few responses. You
might have a few people sign up every week, but you’ll never build a
huge e-mail list in a fast time using this method.
You’ve got
to give people a good reason to sign up for your e-mail list. You’ve
got to give them a reason why they should sign up.
Why would
they want to be a part of your list? There are many mailing lists
out there, and the people on these lists get junk mail from all the
time. Why would they want to sign up for something and actually say,
“Yes, please send me something!” “Please send me offers!” “Please
send me information from you!” You’ve got to give them a good reason
to say, “Yes, please include me in your list!”
There are
several good reasons you can use. I am not going to tell you this is
the right way. It is a “right way,” but it is not the only right
way. Tell them that all they have to do is give you their e-mail
address, and you will send them your weekly or your monthly
newsletter by e-mail. That’s one way to do it.

Even if you don’t want to publish an
electronic newsletter, there are many incentives you can give to get
people to give you their e-mail address so that you can e-mail them.
You can give away a free report. The offer could be something like,
“Anyone who is willing to give their e-mail address gets a free
report,” or maybe they get a free chapter in your book, or any
series of information that you can give away free.
Maybe you
can give away a complete book. Maybe you have some other kind of
free gift. The secret that you want to remember is to give away
something that has a high perceived value that you can deliver via
e-mail or directly over your web site so you don’t have any cost
involved. In fact, most scripts that collect the e-mail addresses
can actually direct them straight to a point on your web site where
they automatically send out the free report.
By giving your
customers a reason to give you their e-mail addresses, you’ll be
able to build your opt-in list much more quickly than if you just
ask them to give you their e-mail without any reason why.
One
final tip before I finish up here. When you are asking for their
e-mail addresses, don’t just tell them that they’ll get the free
report. You should also have a box for them to click that says they
agree to receive e-mail announcements and offers from you. That way
they realize that in exchange for you giving them the free gift or
the free information, it is only fair that they agree to receive the
information and special offers from you. Make sure you point that
out right there so they don’t look at what you are sending them in
the future as spam.

There are 12 basic rules of writing
effective advertising copy. If you will study these rules and use
them every time you write a new ad, you will be on your way to
making millions of dollars. These 12 rules are:
1) Experiment
with different formats to maximize the amount of copy that can fit
into an ad!
2) Achieve maximum clarity and impact of key
points, even if it is at the expense of eliminating lower priority
points!
3) Make every effort to bullet low-priority points,
one after another, in the sales letter, and get them to fit into any
length with clarity!
4) Immediately reduce or eliminate
graphics in order to incorporate more copy. Graphics should seldom
be used in a sales letter!
5) Low-priority copy points that
can’t be introduced into a sales letter could be used in a brochure
or some other form of insert.
6) Consider shifting a
high-priority point to a special highlighted insert, such as a lift

valuable copy space talking about you and your company, knowing that
people care more about what your product will do for them!

produce includes all these things! If you do, you will be on your

First of all, you can explain to the
prospects that your offer is an EXCLUSIVE offer . . . only certain
people can qualify to receive the product because of its nature,
complexity, worth, etc. This is exciting to prospects, because it’s
a statement that not everyone is able to buy it - only those chosen
to be worthy. And to be proved worthy is to be more advanced than
the peers in their market.
“This is something rare, something
for only special people . . . so if I get it, I must be special,
right?”
Then, when they reach the order form, make it like
signing a legal contract - almost to the point of exaggeration.
Tell them they have to order by certified check . . . because that’s
the only way they can get it. Tell them that you won’t be held
responsible for how they use the information in the product.
Make them sign and date the order form, maybe once printed and once
in signature. Make sure the order form mentions that the signature
is a “legal document.”
With all of these different things
prospects either have to do or have to qualify with in order to get
the product, prospects are going to feel that the product must be
something VERY special to deserve this kind of attention . . . and
chances are, many of themare going to want the product so bad, it
might just hurt wondering about what great information is inside!

Mail-Order Millionaires Are No Smarter Than
You!
When you really tap into what the other
companies are doing, you’ll find an abundance of ideas. “Borrowing”
ideas and implanting them into your own offers and sales messages is
what almost every successful direct response marketer does. It has
made many companies very successful over the years.
IT’S
TRUE! Mail-Order millionaires are no smarter than you! And they’re
not doing anything that you can’t do, either. All they are doing is
taking ideas that other companies are using to make money and
incorporating the ideas into their own advertising copy and offers.
Many times, your best ideas will come from companies that sell
products and services that are completely unrelated to your own. If
you are only looking in your own market for ideas, you are limiting

the companies making the most money in their market are doing. This

taking ideas unrelated to your own market that other companies are
using and then making it work for you. This really separates you
from most, if not all, of the other companies in your market,
because they tend to follow what the other companies in the market
are doing.
Historically in all different markets, there are
“Me Too!” companies. They are exactly what the name implies. There’s
nothing unique about them. There’s nothing separating them from most
of the other businesses catering to their market.
Therefore,
most companies have no unique strategies or positioning. There is
nothing that will compel a prospect towards one of these businesses,
because they are all the same.
Only when a company is truly
different and stands out from the crowd will that company be able to
gain the attention and interest of the serious prospects, who have
seen it all. They are bored with the monotony of the other
companies, and they’re looking for something different.
Breakthroughs are out there, and they are taking on the form of what
other companies are doing. But those companies are not necessarily
the companies serving your market. Look at the ideas being used by
companies that are totally unrelated to your market. Find ideas and
offers that are great, and ask yourself, “How can I incorporate this
idea into my own offers and advertisements?”
This is why you
will never run out of ideas that can make you thousands of dollars!
You are not limited in where your ideas can come from. All it takes
is some thought to turn a seemingly non-related offer into a
possible winner for you!

An Incredible Way To Make Loads Of Money - AND
Help A Worthy Cause While You’re Doing It! DOUBLE BENEFIT!
I have to say that one of the most
profitable things that you can do is work with charities. In the
“brick and mortar world,” which is how we refer to things off-line
(not on the Internet), there are people who put together charity
auctions, sales, and benefits that take a percentage of the sales as
a standard procedure and generate the rest of the profit for the
charity.
Charity auctions can be one incredible way to make
loads of money! We’ve seen some people doing this already. You could
make some really good money AND help a worthy cause while you’re
doing it, which carries a double benefit.
These are the kind
of auctions that you’ve seen, like the standard put-togethers that
are done for your local church, local schools, and even an
individual cause in your community. You might raise money to put
playground equipment in the park, upgrade something, or fix a street
corner. You can literally use the Hospice’s Oath of Charity.
Here’s one of the benefits of working with a charity: if you’re
going to put together an auction for your church to benefit your
church, you would speak with the pastor and arrange for them to
promote the auction to the church membership.

worked through a school. Offer to put together an auction for them.
People will literally donate the items to the auction. This is the
power of charity: they donate the items and then you put them up on
the Internet Auction sites for the church for a very small
percentage of the total take. For example, if you want to make a
profit, or you’re just a good-natured soul and you really want to
help the cause, by all means, you’re free to donate your time and
energy to the auction. There’s actually money to be made doing this
for charitable causes.
These people would donate the items,
you put them up, and whatever you sell, you’ll take out your
percentage and pay the charity. This is the kind of thing that can
get some real publicity - one of the powerful things that we see
about this whole concept. It’s unique and it’s new. Churches,
schools, and various other causes for decades and centuries have had
charity auctions where the actual membership comes and buys the
stuff from each other. It winds up being, basically, a garage sale
with bidding.
What makes this very unusual is that you would
sell the items to the world at large on e-Bay or any of the other
big auction sites. This is newsworthy. In fact, we would recommend
this. You could get in touch with your local T.V. and radio stations
and your local newspapers and present them with a press release to
the effect that your church or school is holding a charity auction.

The items will be posted to the world
via the Internet, and it will be one of the first in the community.
Really play it up. Invite the community to donate items to the cause
which would bring even more people in. Working with a charity like
this gives you a good central location where people can actually
bring the items. If you’re doing it for a church, for example, they
could bring the items and drop them off at the church or at the
school gym so you don’t even have to involve your home office, your
address, or information to contact you. They’d literally work
through the church, but you’re putting it up on the Internet
Auctions for them.
The other benefit, of course, is that when
people are buying charity items at a charity auction, they routinely
bid pretty low. We’ve seen things go dirt cheap at these charity
auctions that really shouldn’t. They know that the item is donated.
It didn’t cost anything for the church. If somebody donates a
bicycle that’s worth $150 and only gets $70 bid on it, they don’t
care because it didn’t cost the church anything and the church got
$70 out of it. The guy that donated it gets to write off $150 if
they do it right. It works out for everybody in that respect.
From our own experience, we can say that, by putting the auction it
on the Internet, you will get a much higher price for every item.
They don’t even have to have anybody present at the time when they
hold the auction. So they actually free themselves up. It’s not even
something that would override the auctions that they normally do,
which can be kind of a social gathering. This is something that you
can do during the year in between their ordinary auctions.

The downside to this is very small.
There’s just up! You have a newsworthy item and you’re benefiting a
charitable cause. You could even put that in your bidding, but we
wouldn’t. As you put the items up on the Internet Auctions, we would
recommend that you do not necessarily mention that it is a charity
auction item. That would create a mental thought that, “Oh gosh,
I’ll bid low because it’s a charity item.” You could test that
either way. We would recommend that you test some by mentioning that
it is a charity because it could attract people who might not
otherwise bid on the item, too, to help a charitable cause.
This is another excellent way that you could literally set yourself
up in business. Perhaps you could even establish yourself in your
community as having a real selling profile or a unique selling angle
in that you focus on charity auctions, putting them together, and
putting them on the Internet for various charities.
